H. E. GyangKhang Tulku Rinpoche was born in India.
At a tender age, he entered Ngagyur Nyingma Institute, a branch of
Namdroling Monastery and an advanced college of Tibetan Buddhism.
In his fifth year in his university, GyangKhang Rinpoche displayed his
scriptural knowledge by giving a lengthy discourse on Sangwa Nyingpo (Magical Net Tantra, a Mahayoga Teaching) in front of His Holiness The Fourteen Dalai Lama and an assembly of thirty thousand people both lay and ordained from all the different religious traditions of Tibet. He also debated on this subject and emerged victorious. His Holiness the Dalai Lama praised his wisdom in front of all and offered him a khatag,
a traditional scarf, encouraging him to hold, sustain and disseminate
the teachings of Lord Buddha for the benefits of all beings. read more>>>

Khenpo Tenzin Norgey was born in the Tashigang District of Bhutan in 1965. After completing Jigme Sherubling High School in 1986, he joined Ngagyur Nyingma Institute, the prestigious Buddhist studies and research center, at Namdroling Monastery in Mysore. At the Institute he studied under Khenchen Pema Sherab, Khenpo Namdrol Tsering and Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso and other visiting professors, including Khenchen Jigme Phuntsok and Khenpo Pema Tsewang from Tibet. He completed the Shedra program in 1995 and taught for three years as the Institute staff.  He was formally enthroned as Khenpo by H. H.Penor Rinpoche in 1998 and assigned by His Holiness to teach at the Buddhist college in Palyul monastery of Tibet. He has received all the major empowerments of the Rinchen Terzod, Nam Cho, Nyingthik Yabshi and Nyingma Kama from H. H. Penor Rinpoche as well as the Mipham Kabum from H. H. Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. Because of his knowledge, experience and fluent English, H. H. Penor Rinpoche assigned him to teach iin the United States in conjunction with the ongoing teaching programs offered by Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche.
