Part II- Chapter 9th Wisdom
Composed in the eighth century by Indian Bodhisattva
Santideva at Nalanda University,it is the
most widely practiced throughout Buddhist communities. It
has ten chapters dedicated to the development of an enlightened mind through
the six perfections.
Chapter one: the benefits of the wish to reach full enlightenment for
others
Chapter two: purifying bad deeds
Chapter three: adopting the spirit of enlightenment
Chapter eight: the practice of meditative concentration
Chapter nine: wisdom
Chapter ten: dedication
His Holiness commented
in Taipei about the importance of this text because it teaches
Bodhichitta; which is a wish
fulfilling gem to reach enlightenment.
Khenchen will be teaching Chapter nine: wisdom which is
mainly the explanation on the emptiness nature.

The teachings are considered priceless, and the teachers
offer them freely. It is traditional to make an offering at
the conclusion of the teaching. A white scarf (kata) with a dana (generosity) is usually presented to the
Rinpoche.
